Live-Video Workshop

Théâtre du Rêve Expérimental

The workshop is an experimental field for the participants to investigate various possibilities of using live-video in performance and installations. The hand-on process does not only welcome and inspire the participants to conceive their own methods of using the camera-projector-space system, but also deepens their understanding of the video culture in general, as the live-video appropriates the well-established video formats.

The leader, Beijing-based theater director WANG Chong, has been invited to give the workshop in Taipei Arts Festival, Hooyoon Festival in Korea, Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, Rotterdam Festival de Keuze, and Dublin Theater Festival.
